Tips for Facilitators What contribution can we be to each other, bars, the planet and access Consciousness?
- Skip the expensive massage sheets. Buy single bed sheets at thrift stores. Twist the corners and tie with rubber band to fit the table.
- Instead of paying the printer to put spiral bindings on your manuals you can buy 1/2 inch 3 ring binders (I get mine on Amazon) and punch the holes yourself.
- You can get QR codes for Venmo, PayPal, Zelle and Facebook messenger. This makes payment easy for your students and clients. They just scan the code.
- You can easily record your classes or client sessions with your cell phone. No special equipment needed. Be sure to have then sign a waiver.
- With minimal sewing skills you can make your own knee bolsters and neck rolls
- If hosting bars shares ask the participants to leave their chart at home and provide charts for them. People will often forget their charts at the share
- Put your photo on your business card. This makes it easy for people to recall you
- Word of mouth is the best advertising ever. Find people who talk to everyone when they find something they like and gift them a bars session. These are your connectors. You might want to ask the Universe for more connectors...just sayin"
- Always collect payment at the start of a class. This can avoid things being awkward. For Bars shares I just have an honor dish. I keep change on hand for ease.
- If you are able a laser printer and a laminator are a great investment.
- If you print your own manuals you can buy a ream of card stock for certificates and bars charts
- Ask class and bars shares participants to refrain from fragrances as many have allergies
- If teaching bars classes we are required to show 2 videos. Download them directly to your hard drive. If the internet is out that day you can still show the videos.
- Test your video equipment before the class
- The favored snacks over the years have been peanut M & Ms, dark chocolate almonds, mixed salted nuts, Ruffles Cheddar potato chips
- Take photos of class participants running bars and give to them so they have a photo to use to promote clients
- Read the 10 Keys to Total Freedom. The 7th Key is No competition. Please study this and remember that we are contribute to each other and Access and Bars when we are not in competition. Competition may not be what you think it is. If you are competing with anyone besides yourself you have already decided that person is greater than you. How can we be a greater contribution to each other and consciousness?
- If you have the point of view that people can't afford classes you will not attract people that have the money for classes.
- If you are using a Facebook event to promote your class only invite people that may actually be interested in your class.
- Do not rehearse your class before you teach it. If you do so you are giving it to people energetically and they won't need to show up in person.
- Be sure to read you Bars Facilitator manual. Sounds silly but you would be surprised how many don't.
- Yes, you are required to turn in a monthly report. Find it on the Ning or under Facilitator tools on Access site.
- Even if your student had a bars class yesterday and says don't bother to print me a manual print it anyway! You are required to give each student both head charts, a manual, view both videos, gift and receive twice and the class must be a minimum of 6 hours. Protect your license by meeting these requirements in every class.
